Research Prize
The Society of Property Researchers are launching an inaugural Research Prize this year and would like to invite their members to submit an actual industry piece of research by practitioners, not academics.  The judging panel are looking for papers that present new data, innovative analysis, or demonstrate new ways of thinking.  
As a new prize, the Society is looking for your support to ensure that good quality research is put forward, meaning that readers, colleagues and authors are all welcome to send in research (if you have a copy of it) or refer to research that you are aware of, which you believe to be of good quality and more insightful than the average.
Information and Instructions for submissions
Papers may be submitted by author, colleague or a client/reader
Papers need to be submitted by 31st July 2018
Papers must have been published or sent to clients in the 12 month period preceding that – i.e. 1st August 2017 to 31st July 2018
There is no specific format that papers must be submitted in - .pdf, .ppt, .word files etc. are all permissible
Research / data / papers should be submitted directly by email to 
Judging Panel
The main panel will consist of the Society’s current Chair, past Chair, and two Vice-Chairs
Judges will present their shortlist and winners to the SPR Committee to approve the winners
The papers will be distributed to the Judges and they will not correspond on any submissions directly
Due to the number of submissions, the Judges are unable to provide feedback on any papers
Research Prize Winners
There will be two winners announced
One prize will be reserved for researchers who will be under the age of 30 as at 31st July 2018
And the second winner of any age, potentially the prize being awarded to someone under the age of 30, or indeed, an older researcher
The prize will be awarded each year at the Society’s Annual Dinner in November
Each prize winner will be awarded £250 voucher for Amazon or Red-Letter Day/Virgin Experience Days
Both prize winners will be provided with the opportunity to present at a seminar in the following Society year
